A practical alternative for salvage therapy in Gastrointestinal Bleeding: Ankaferd Blood Stopper

Upper and lower gastrointestinal bleeding is a medical problem that encountered in the clinic quite often. Endoscopic procedures still constitute basis of treatment bleeding. Hemoclips, argon plasma coagulation, sclerotherapy, heater probe, hemosprays accompanied by endoscopy are used alone or combination. In this study, we shared our experience using drug called Ankaferd blood stopper, which indicated for use many forms bleeding, 64 patients who applied to with upper between January 2019 April 2020.
